Get started as an international student

Welcome to the College of Health Solutions! ASU hosts more students from other countries than any other public university in the United States. We are excited that you decided to join us!

Preparation is important for international students. Use this list to ensure that you are prepared before you leave for ASU:

  • Check My ASU regularly to complete the items under the Priority Tasks section.
  • Follow these steps to get your visa, get registered in classes, and prepare your accommodations in the U.S. (For assistance with course registration, please contact your graduate support coordinator directly.)
  • Submit proof of measles immunization: ASU requires students to meet the measles, mumps and rubella immunization requirement before class registration. Visit the ASU Health Services website for more information.
  • International students are encouraged to complete the virtual orientation available on My ASU prior to arriving at ASU.

Once you arrive in the United States, be sure to complete your SEVIS New Student Check-in and attend an international student orientation
