The Burton Family Foundation Summer Health Institute at ASU’s College of Health Solutions is a unique opportunity for high school students to explore health career options.

Students who have completed their junior year are eligible to stay for a week on the Downtown Phoenix campus, where they will enjoy an immersive college experience while learning about what it means to be a physician, nurse, physical therapist, pharmacist, physician assistant, occupational therapist and health care provider. Participants enjoy three hours of daily simulation at Creighton University School of Medicine with activities like suturing, IVs, intubation and injections. Participants will interact with members of the health care team and tour health care facilities located within the health corridor of Arizona.

Because of generous support from community partners, the only cost to participants in The Burton Family Foundation Summer Health Institute is travel to and from the camp.
